Travel Registered Nurse ICU Job
ICU Registered Nurse travel assignment in Vail, Colorado. Start date May 18, 2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $1,832–$1,916 with guaranteed hours of 32 per week. Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to ICU patients, including monitoring critical parameters, ventilator management, and hemodynamic support.
- Administer medications, including IV therapies and vasoactive medications per protocol.
- Perform comprehensive assessments, recognize early signs of deterioration, and escalate to the charge nurse and physician as needed.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team (physicians, respiratory therapists, and support staff) to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document all patient care and outcomes accurately in the electronic health record; ensure adherence to infection control and safety standards.
- Support patient and family education, discharge planning, and adjustments to care that promote safety and quality outcomes.
Requirements
- One year of critical care/ICU experience preferred
- Ability to work 3x12-hour night shifts (11:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.)
- Willingness to commit to a 13-week travel assignment with guaranteed 32 hours per week
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse and eligibility to practice in Colorado (as applicable)
