Travel Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Job
Temp - Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) in a long-term care (LTC) setting, Saint Louis, Missouri. This travel - temporary assignment starts on 04/13/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $1,361 to $1,479. There are no guaranteed hours. Shift is Days, 5x8 schedule. This role supports a licensed OT in delivering therapeutic services and promoting patient mobility and independence.

Responsibilities
- Assist the Occupational Therapist in delivering therapy treatments to improve mobility and physical health.
- Guide patients through prescribed exercises and treatment plans; document progress and collect relevant health information.
- Monitor patient response to therapy and help ensure treatment goals are met.
- Encourage patients during recovery and support their move toward greater independence in daily activities.
- Maintain a safe and organized treatment area, and manage equipment and supplies.
- Educate patients and family members or caregivers on techniques to support the treatment program and home exercises.
Requirements
- Active Missouri COTA license (required)
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA) (required)
- Resume required
- COTA skills checklist from within the last year (required)
- 0–1 supervisory reference from within the last year (required)
- Active Missouri or Compact license (required)
- Active BLS (AHA) certification (required)
- 2 years OT/COTA experience with LTC or Rehab experience highly preferred
