Travel Endoscopy Tech GI Lab Tech Job
Endoscopy Tech. GI Lab Tech position based in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. Start date: June 2, 2026. This is a travel - temporary assignment at a hospital setting for 13 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $1,643 to $1,744 per week, with guaranteed hours of 40 per week. Shift pattern is 4x10-hour rotating shifts with on-call rotation.

Responsibilities
- Assist nursing staff and physicians during endoscopic procedures, supporting complex cases (polypectomy, biopsies, screening exams, ERCP, dilations) and ensuring proper equipment function and setup.
- Disinfect and process endoscopic equipment; troubleshoot and load equipment as needed to maintain procedure efficiency.
- Prepare and set up procedural rooms with instruments, supplies, and monitors; assist with patient transport and comfort as directed.
- Transport patients between departments; assist patients with dressing and ambulation as required by nursing staff.
- Apply EKG monitoring, BP cuff, and pulse oximetry prior to cases; monitor basic patient status during procedures.
- Maintain supplies and stock rooms; assist with room turnover and accessibility of required devices for subsequent cases.
Requirements
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent
- Certification: BLS from the American Heart Association
- Licensure/Registration: Colorado DORA Surgical Tech registration is required
- Certifications: Current IAHCSMM Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CER) certification
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of endoscopy experience; advanced case endoscopy experience required
- Additional preferences: SGNA Associates Program and/or Advanced Associates Program are highly preferred
- Other: Ability to work in a hospital-based GI/endoscopy environment and to participate in rotating 4x10-hour shifts with call
