Travel Registered Nurse ER Job
Registered Nurse – Emergency Department travel assignment in Fort Bragg, California. Start date 04/27/2026 for a 13-week assignment. Weekly pay range is $1,734–$1,829. No guaranteed hours. Shift: 3x12-hour nights. Setting: Critical Access Hospital with ED coverage needs.

Responsibilities
- Provide rapid assessment, triage, and stabilization of patients presenting to the ER
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and procedures within established ER protocols
- Continuously monitor patient status, including vital signs, labs, and imaging; escalate as needed
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and ancillary staff to implement care plans
- Document care accurately in the Electronic Medical Record and ensure timely charting
- Respond to code alerts and participate in rapid-response and critical events per protocol
- Educate patients and families about discharge instructions and post-ED care when appropriate
Requirements
- Active RN license in the state of California
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP required; TNCC preferred
- Minimum 3 years of ER/unit experience within the last 3 months
- Ability to work a 3x12-hour night shift and manage a 36-hour weekly schedule
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality, fast-paced acute care in a busy ER environment
