Certified Surgical Technologist — Certified Surgical Tech in a travel assignment based in Watertown, New York. This 13‑week role begins on 07/06/2026 in a hospital setting. Guaranteed 40 hours per week with a weekly pay range of $1,821-$1,957. Shift is 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Weekend, call and holidays are required as part of the schedule.

Responsibilities
- Scrub, gown, and glove for operative procedures across multiple specialties; maintain sterile technique throughout cases
- Prepare and maintain the sterile field, instrument trays, implants, and equipment; ensure instruments and devices are functioning properly
- Pass instruments, retractors, and supplies to surgeons; assist with suction, tissue handling, and specimen care
- Assist with orthopedic cases and robotic-assisted procedures; set up and troubleshoot robotic equipment as needed
- Ensure proper cleaning, sterilization, and disinfection of instruments and room between cases; adhere to infection control policies
- May precept new staff and support orientation; be available to arrive for scheduled call shifts within 30 minutes
- Work under the direct supervision of an RN and collaborate with the surgical team to optimize patient care
Requirements
- Certification: NBSTSA or NCCT certified surgical technologist; must be certified
- Experience: previous travel experience required; orthopedic OR experience required; scrubbing experience required
- Technical: DaVinci/robotic experience required; knowledge of cleaning, sterilization, and disinfection of operating room equipment
- Education: not specified; relevant professional certification and clinical experience
- BLS: Basic Life Support certification required
- Availability: able to work 7:00 am–3:30 pm; weekend, call, and holiday coverage required
- Response: must arrive within 30 minutes of being called in
