Travel Registered Nurse Med Surg Tele Job
Registered Nurse – Med Surg Tele travel assignment in Massena, NY. Start date 06/15/2026 for several weeks. Weekly pay range $2,448–$2,611 per week. No guaranteed hours. Shift 4x12-hour days. Unit placement in a Med-Surg / Telemetry service within a Critical Access Hospital setting. Epic charting experience is required for this assignment.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for adult and geriatric medical-surgical and telemetry patients, including assessment, planning, and evaluation
- Monitor telemetry, interpret dysrhythmias, and respond to changes in patient status
- Administer medications, start IVs, manage IV therapy, and provide blood product administration as needed
- Perform wound care, implement isolation precautions, and follow PPE protocols; collaborate with PT, respiratory, pharmacy, radiology, interpretation services, and unit secretary
- Respond to Rapid Response and Code events; document care and communicate with interdisciplinary teams
- Document accurately in Epic and adhere to unit policies; participate in rounding and care coordination
Requirements
- Active New York RN license (in hand to submit)
- Minimum 2 years Med-Surg/Telemetry experience (adult/geriatric); travel experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
- Epic electronic health record experience required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Ability to float to related units as needed; orientation of 12 hours; pre-approved time off of 1 shift; return-staff policy of 1 year
- Locality/radius notes: locals accepted must be >50 miles; candidates within 75 miles are not accepted
