Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor linear accelerator and related radiation therapy equipment in accordance with prescribed treatment plans.
- Prepare and position patients using immobilization devices; verify accurate treatment fields and alignment.
- Collaborate with radiation oncologists, dosimetrists, and nursing staff to ensure precise treatment delivery and plan adjustments as needed.
- Perform routine quality assurance checks on equipment and maintain accurate documentation of treatments and settings.
- Assist with simulation and planning activities as needed; prioritize patient safety, comfort, and communication throughout the treatment process.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Radiation Therapy Tech
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment and adhere to safety and radiation protection standards
- Eligible to work in the United States; travel assignment with local candidate restrictions (no local candidates within 50 miles)
