Diagnostic Radiologic Tech (Radiology Tech) – San Luis Obispo, California. This travel assignment begins August 31, 2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay is $2,491 to $2,538 with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift: 3x12-hour day shifts. Work in a short-term acute care hospital setting.

Responsibilities
- Operate x-ray equipment to produce diagnostic radiographs of designated body parts as ordered by physicians.
- Position patients and instruct them prior to examinations; adjust exposure factors (voltage, current, exposure time) for optimal imaging.
- Prepare exam rooms and equipment; ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures.
- Produce, label, and document diagnostic images; verify exams in the PACS system; communicate results to the physician as appropriate.
- Monitor patients during imaging; maintain radiation safety and infection control practices; respond to patient questions and concerns.
- Collaborate with radiology team members to ensure timely, accurate imaging and appropriate use of fluoroscopy when required.

Requirements
- Education: Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent
- Licenses/Certifications: ARRT Radiography (R) certification; California Radiologic Technologist (RT) license; Fluoroscopy license; Fluoroscopy (FLUORO) certification; Basic Life Support (BLS) from an approved vendor per policy; CA fluoroscopy requirements
- Experience: At least two years of recent radiology experience
- State requirements: Current nursing license per state of assignment
- Additional: On-site responsibilities require ability to work 7:00 AM start times; on-call 1–2 nights per week as scheduled; preference for OR experience with O-arm imaging
