Responsibilities
- Provide resident-centered nursing care during night shifts in a long-term care setting.
- Monitor vital signs, administer medications per physician orders, and accurately document care in the charting system.
- Perform ongoing assessments, identify changes in patient condition, and escalate issues to the charge nurse or physician as needed.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective, and compassionate care.
- Adhere to infection control, safety, and patient privacy policies; complete timely shift handoffs and incident reporting as required.
Requirements
- Current LPN license in Maine (active and in good standing) or eligibility per scope of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers or CPR certification
- Minimum 1 year of LPN experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting preferred
- Graduate of an approved practical nursing program
- Ability to work night shifts and to pass standard pre-employment screenings (background check, drug screen)
