Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) travel assignment in a long-term care setting in Truth Or Consequences, New Mexico, United States. Start date: 03/19/2026. Duration: 14 weeks. Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments per the resident care plan and document actions in the chart.
- Monitor and report changes in patient conditions to the supervising registered nurse; respond to acute changes per protocol.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, promote mobility, and support rehabilitation activities as directed.
- Collaborate with the health care team during rounds and care planning; follow infections control and safety procedures.
- Maintain accurate documentation, observe resident privacy and dignity, and ensure a safe care environment.
Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in New Mexico.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Ability to complete required background checks and fingerprinting prior to start (fingerprints by the Tuesday before start).
- Availability to participate in orientation on Thursdays and to check in at the facility on the Wednesday before start.
- Willingness to work 12-hour day shifts in a long-term care setting.
- LTC experience preferred but not required; able to function effectively in a fast-paced environment.
