Responsibilities
- Perform and review clinical laboratory tests across Blood Bank, Hematology, Urinalysis, and Chemistry with accurate results and timely reporting.
- Prepare, process, and analyze specimens; conduct Gram stains and other microbiology techniques as part of routine panels.
- Operate and maintain instrumentation (Siemens Aptio Line, Siemens Atellica, Sysmex XN9000, Sysmex UN3000 or Iris) and perform routine QC/maintenance as assigned.
- Manage Blood Bank procedures and documentation, including compatibility testing and serious QC incidents, while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.
- Enter and verify data in EMR systems (Epic and Sunquest Blood Bank) with attention to specimen labeling, results, and quality control documentation.
- Collaborate with the laboratory team and other clinical staff; adhere to the rotating schedule and ensure coverage without floating outside the Lab.

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of clinical laboratory experience (Medical Lab Technician/Technologist) required
- MT license required
- ASCP or AMT credentialed (CLS or MLT) required
- Experience with Epic and Sunquest Blood Bank EMR
- Proficiency with Siemens Aptio Line, Siemens Atellica, Sysmex XN9000, Sysmex UN3000 or Iris; Gel testing for Blood Bank and Micro setups
- Ability to work in a hospital laboratory setting with a rotating shift pattern and to perform Blood Bank, Hematology, Urinalysis, Chemistry, and Gram Stain duties as part of the assignment
- No floating outside the Lab; strong adherence to safety, quality control, and regulatory standards
