Travel Registered Nurse OR Job
Registered Nurse - Operating Room (Surgery/OR) in Fortuna, California. This travel temporary assignment is scheduled to start 06/29/2026 for weeks, with weekly pay from $2,348 to $2,420 per week. The shift is 5x8 days and there are no guaranteed hours. The role involves circulating and PACU/recovery duties in a rural hospital's Surgical/OR unit that handles endoscopy procedures.

Responsibilities
- Circulate and recover for surgical cases, performing circulating and PACU duties
- Provide endoscopy support (EGD, colonoscopy) as part of the OR team
- Monitor patient status, including cardiac monitoring; respond to codes; operate electrosurgical units
- Maintain sterile technique, instrument handling, room turnover, and accurate charting
- Collaborate with respiratory, pharmacy, and unit secretary to coordinate patient care
- May float to other areas within the hospital or to nearby affiliate facilities as needed
Requirements
- Active California RN license required and in-hand at submission
- Minimum 1 year RN experience
- Endoscopy experience required
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
- Education: Graduation from an accredited RN program; current California RN licensure
- Ability to perform circulating and PACU duties in a Surgical/OR setting; ability to work in a rural hospital environment
