Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive ultrasound examinations across multiple body systems, including Abdomen (Aorta, IVC, Liver/Biliary, Pancreas, Spleen, Renal; assess for normal findings and pathology), GYN (breast, ovaries, adnexa, uterus, pelvis; document pathology and normal variants; pediatric and adult), OB (1st–3rd trimesters; amniocentesis; biophysical profile; gestational age; placental grading; identify abnormalities and IGUR), Neonatal (congenital anomalies and neonatal head), Superficial structures (abdominal wall, breast, focal masses, hematoma, scrotum/testes, thyroid), and Vascular studies (carotid duplex; segmental pressure studies; upper and lower extremity venous and arterial duplex).
- Perform procedures requiring ultrasound guidance, including aspirations, biopsies, drainage, and intraoperative assistance when applicable.
- Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment; manage image acquisition quality; input data into the Meditech EMR and reference images in Fuji Synapse PACS.
- Collaborate with physicians and health care teams to interpret findings, correlate with clinical data, and communicate results promptly.
- Maintain patient safety, infection control, and patient comfort throughout examinations; adapt to diverse patient ages and clinical conditions.
- May be required to float to other units/departments to support service coverage.
- Prepare accurate, concise reports that reflect imaging findings and any pertinent recommendations.

Requirements
- Active ARDMS certification in AB, OB, and RVT
- Active BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an acute hospital setting
- Ability to perform a broad range of ultrasound procedures and handle on-call responsibilities
- Proficiency with ultrasound equipment (Canon i700), Meditech EMR, and Fuji Synapse PACS
- Willingness to float to other units/departments as needed
- Eligibility to work in the United States and meet credentialing requirements for the assignment
