MRI Technologist – MRI Tech specialty, Brattleboro, Vermont, United States. Travel - Temporary Assignment starting 05/04/2026 for approximately 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,747 to $2,906. Responsibilities
- Perform magnetic resonance imaging procedures using appropriate MRI sequences and protocols
- Assess patient status, position patients, monitor during scans, and ensure comfort and safety
- Apply imaging parameters, optimize image quality, and verify diagnostic adequacy of MRI studies
- Practice strict MRI safety and infection control standards; enforce equipment safety protocols
- Administer contrast per orders and manage venipuncture as needed
- Document procedures, procedures performed, and patient data; maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with radiology team, radiologists, and support staff to ensure timely imaging services
- Maintain equipment cleanliness, routine quality checks, and report any malfunctions
- Complete MRI skills checklist within the last year and keep ARRT-credentialed status current
Requirements
- Education: Graduate of an AMA-approved program of Radiologic Technology
- Licensure/Certification: Active American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); active BLS (AHA)
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of hospital-based MRI technologist experience
- Equipment familiarity: Siemens MAGNETOM Sola Expert experience required
- Additional certifications: Venipuncture certification (must be willing to obtain if not current)
- Additional preferences: Toshiba and Cerner experience (preferred); travel experience (highly preferred)
- Documentation: Resume listing all departments worked; MRI skills checklist from within the last year; 2 supervisory references from the last 2 years
- Status: Eligible to work in the listed location; able to meet the assignment's requirements and schedule
- Schedule readiness: Available for 40-hour weeks; weekend and on-call requirements as described
