Responsibilities
- Provide cath lab nursing care during interventional procedures, including patient preparation, intra-procedure monitoring, and post-procedure recovery
- Monitor patient condition, vital signs, and hemodynamic data; recognize and respond to changes in patient status
- Maintain sterile technique and assist with procedural setup, equipment preparation, and line or catheter management
- Collaborate with physicians and the cath lab team to ensure smooth workflow, accurate documentation, and patient safety
- Administer medications and contrast agents as assigned, monitor for adverse reactions, and document responses in the medical record
- Manage on-call responsibilities and potential weekend coverage as required by the assignment
Requirements
- Active Hawaii Registered Nurse license required prior to start
- Cath lab or interventional nursing experience preferred
- Willingness to take frequent on-call shifts and weekend coverage
