This role blends stability with the exhilaration of discovery, enabling you to build a versatile resume that showcases adaptability, leadership, and clinical excellence. The assignment is designed to deliver a rewarding balance of professional challenge and personal enrichment, with access to comprehensive support and resources that keep you confident on every shift.
Role Specifics and Benefits:
As the ER Travel RN, your core responsibilities will center on delivering rapid, high-quality emergency care. You will perform patient assessments, initiate triage, monitor vital signs, administer medications and IV therapies, start and interpret basic diagnostics, assist with life-saving procedures, and coordinate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and ancillary teams to optimize patient outcomes. You will document accurately and efficiently in electronic health records, communicate clearly with patients and families during stressful situations, and actively participate in handoffs to ensure continuity of care. Your professional growth will be supported through ongoing mentorship from seasoned ER clinicians, opportunities to pursue advanced certifications (such as ACLS, BLS, PALS, or trauma-focused credentials), and potential for expanded responsibilities as you demonstrate clinical leadership and precepting capabilities for new travelers.
Your benefits package emphasizes the value we place on your expertise. You will have access to a competitive compensation structure with a weekly pay range of $2,241-$2,386, reflecting your skills and experience. A sign-on bonus may be available, aligning with assignment length and facility needs. Housing assistance is provided to ease relocation, with options that suit different preferences—from comfortable apartment-style accommodations to community-based housing. Extension opportunities enable you to extend your contract to align with your professional and personal plans, fostering continuity with teams you’ve grown to trust. You’ll also benefit from comprehensive support, including 24/7 assistance while traveling with the company, ensuring you have direct access to staffing coordinators, clinical leads, and travel logistics support whenever you need it. The assignment comes with guaranteed hours of 36 per week, delivering predictability in earnings and scheduling. A dedicated clinical liaison helps address any clinical questions, credentialing needs, or special accommodations, enabling you to focus on patient care with confidence. The dynamic nature of travel nursing in ER settings means you’ll sharpen rapid assessment, triage, and resuscitation skills, while expanding your professional network across diverse facilities and communities.
