Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents under the supervision of a registered nurse, including monitoring and basic treatments
- Administer prescribed medications and manage treatments per care plans, ensuring safety and accuracy
- Assess residents, document findings, and communicate changes to the care team; respond promptly to call lights
- Assist with activities of daily living and mobility; support resident comfort, dignity, and safety
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record and participate in shift handoffs and care planning
Requirements
- Active LPN license in good standing (South Dakota) or eligible for assignment
- Graduate of an approved practical nursing program
- Minimum 1 year of LPN experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
- Ability to work 40 hours per week; available for rotating weekend/holiday schedule as required by contract
- Proficiency in basic nursing skills, documentation, and collaborative teamwork
