This travel assignment is on a hospital inpatient unit with a focus on adult ICU, ED, and NICU care (Level III NICU required; PICU preferred). As a traveling RRT, you will join a dedicated team delivering critical respiratory care in a teaching environment.

- Experience: teaching hospital environment; EPIC EMR experience in the last 2 years
- Licensure: RRT required; CRT not accepted
Responsibilities
- Deliver inpatient respiratory care for adults in ICU and ED, with NICU Level III coverage; PICU is preferred
- Assess, implement, and monitor arterial and venous, airway, and ventilator management; perform airway clearance and bronchodilator therapies
- Administer prescribed therapies, manage ventilator settings, and perform NIV/oxygen therapy as ordered
- Obtain and interpret arterial blood gases; respond to respiratory emergencies and participate in rapid response teams as needed
- Document care in the EMR (Epic) and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams on rounds and care plans
- Ensure evidence-based practice, infection control, and patient safety during all respiratory interventions
Requirements
- Licensure: Current RRT, not eligible to be CRT
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP required; NRP required upon submission; NBRC verification
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of relevant experience; prior travel experience preferred
- Specialty requirements: Inpatient RRT care for Adult ICU & ED; NICU Level III required; PICU preferred; NICU levels must be listed on work history
- EMR: Epic experience within the past 2 years is required
- Education: Graduation from an accredited respiratory therapy program
- Other: Ability to work in a teaching hospital environment; comprehensive work history with all specialties documented
