Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse in a skilled nursing setting.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments; document care promptly in the charting system.
- Monitor vital signs, assess patient status, and report changes to the supervising nurse.
- Assist with activities of daily living and comfort measures; maintain patient safety and dignity.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to implement and adjust care plans; follow infection control and safety protocols.
Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse license in New Mexico (NM).
- Ability to work 3x12-hour shifts in a skilled nursing facility environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to support patient care and handoffs.
- Reliable, professional, and able to perform duties in a fast-paced clinical setting.
