LPN – Licensed Practical Nurse travel assignment in Winchester, New Hampshire, United States. This is a Travel - Temporary Assignment in a Long-Term Care (LTC) nursing home setting. Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting, including assessments and basic treatments under physician orders.
- Administer medications and nursing interventions per orders and facility policy; document accurately.
- Monitor vital signs, observe changes in resident status, and report findings to the supervising nurse and physician.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, mobility, hygiene, and comfort; respond promptly to call lights and safety concerns.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to implement and adjust care plans; maintain timely, legible documentation and clear shift handoffs.
- Maintain infection control standards, adhere to safety protocols, and protect resident privacy and dignity in all duties.
Requirements
- Active LPN license in New Hampshire.
- Completion of an approved practical nursing program.
- Prior experience as an LPN in a long-term care setting is preferred.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts in a 3x12 schedule and to collaborate effectively with a care team.
- Local candidates preferred due to assignment constraints.
