Travel Registered Nurse ER Job
RN-ED-Nights-WEEKENDS is an ER registered nurse travel assignment based in Delta, Colorado. The position starts on 04/13/2026 and runs for 13 weeks. Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care to assigned ED patients, including triage and prioritization based on acuity and established guidelines.
- Perform focused assessments of chief complaints, monitor evolving conditions, and communicate changes to the care team.
- Administer medications, collect specimens, perform wound care, and maintain supplies and equipment for patient care.
- Support patient flow, manage time effectively, and coordinate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to optimize care delivery.
- Document patient findings and interventions accurately, adhering to hospital policies and the Nurse Practice Act.
- Educate patients and families as appropriate and ensure safety, infection control, and quality standards are met.
Requirements
- Active Colorado RN license required to practice.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required upon hire.
- ENPC or PALS certification required within 6 months of hire; ENPC preferred.
- TNCC certification required upon hire or within 1 year.
- Minimum two years of critical care nursing experience preferred; ER experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced emergency department environment and adapt to variable patient loads.
