Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting, delivering bedside care and support
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders, and document accurately
- Monitor resident conditions, respond to changes, and communicate with the interdisciplinary team
- Assist with activities of daily living and promote resident comfort, safety, and dignity
- Maintain accurate records in the resident's chart/electronic health record and report incidents promptly
- Ensure adherence to infection control practices, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse license in Massachusetts
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of Licensed Practical Nurse experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting preferred
- Ability to work the night shift (23:00–07:00) and meet facility policies
- Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-centered care skills
- Eligibility to work in the United States and ability to comply with facility policies
