Responsibilities
- Provide clinical supervision and direct care for residents in a long-term care setting under the supervision of an RN or physician
- Assess residents’ conditions, implement and modify care plans, and document care and outcomes
- Administer medications and treatments per policy, ensuring accurate documentation and safety
- Oversee licensed and unlicensed nursing staff on the shift, delegating tasks and supervising workflow
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary team to ensure quality resident care and timely communication of changes
- Ensure regulatory compliance, patient safety, infection control, and accurate charting and reporting
Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse license (state requirements not specified)
- Ability to work night shift and the listed Monday–Friday schedule
- Capability to perform duties in a long-term care/geriatric setting
- Proficiency with resident care documentation and routine clinical tasks
- Willingness to collaborate with the care team and support staff on shift
