Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to telemetry/cardiac patients, following the plan of care and physician orders
- Monitor telemetry data and patient status; interpret rhythm strips and respond to arrhythmias or changes in condition
- Administer prescribed medications and intravenous therapies, including cardiac drips as indicated, and support initiation of Tikosyn/Sotalol per protocol
- Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the EPIC electronic medical record; ensure timely and accurate charting
- Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and the broader care team; participate in daily rounds and care planning
- Educate patients and families about procedures, treatments, and post-discharge plans; ensure patient safety and comfort

Requirements
- Active Kansas RN license and BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of recent telemetry experience; 2–5 years telemetry experience preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts; capable of floating to all acute care units and working every other weekend as required
- Proficiency with EPIC or similar EMR systems; strong documentation skills
- Credentialing expectations: CBC, DS, and lab work must be completed within 72 hours of offer acceptance
- Education: Registered Nurse degree and licensure to practice in Kansas
