Registered Nurse – Med Surg travel assignment in a hospital setting. Specialty: Med Surg (D3). Location: New York State (upstate region). Start date: July 20, 2026. Duration: travel assignment (weeks-based). Weekly pay: $1,817–$1,888 per week. Guaranteed hours: none. Shift: 3x12-hour nights.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical-Surgical unit, including monitoring, assessment, and documentation
- Administer medications, manage intravenous therapy, and respond to clinical changes
- Perform routine nursing procedures and support patient safety initiatives
- Document care and patient progress in EPIC; participate in care planning and discharge education
- Collaborate with the care team, including physicians, wound care, and case management
- Float within scope of practice as needed and directed by unit leadership
Requirements
- Active NY RN license required at submission
- Minimum 2 years acute hospital nursing experience
- Prior travel nursing experience
- EPIC charting experience required
- BLS required; ACLS preferred
- Willingness to float within scope of practice and at unit manager’s discretion
- Must have recent Nursys verification and be able to provide up-to-date certifications and references
- Flu vaccine required; COVID-19 vaccine not required (exemption processes apply)
- HealthStream modules must be completed by 7:00 a.m. on the Wednesday preceding start date; Relias EKG testing may be required (72 hours after signing) and onsite EKG assessment may be required with performance expectations
