Start date: April 20, 2026 | Duration: 8 weeks | Weekly pay: $2,199–$2,275 per week | Guaranteed hours: 40 per week | Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. | Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital
Travel assignment with Healthforce Healthcare LLC. This is a temporary travel position with a guaranteed 40 hours per week and a Monday–Friday day shift.

- Shift: Days, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. (no weekends, no call)
- Travel assignment in a short-term acute care setting

Responsibilities
- Deliver prescribed radiotherapy treatments to patients using radiation therapy equipment per physician orders and established standards.
- Obtain patient history, address questions, and explain procedures; monitor patients for unusual reactions during treatment.
- Check prescriptions, diagnoses, charts, and patient identifiers to ensure accurate treatment delivery; prepare treatment room and equipment; position the patient in prescribed anatomical positions.
- Coordinate with physicists, nurses, and other care providers; schedule treatments and document results, progress notes, and treatment plans.
- Reinforce care instructions and information provided by physicians or other clinicians; assist with port films and verification imaging as directed by the physician.
- Maintain compliance with departmental and hospital policies, safety standards, and quality improvement initiatives; perform related duties as assigned.

Requirements
- Licenses/Certifications: State of Ohio licensed radiation therapist; ARRT license; CPR certified. Ohio Department of Health license preferred upon submission.
- Education: Associate degree in radiography with a certification in radiation therapy required; BS in radiation therapy preferred.
- Experience: 1–2 years of radiation therapy experience preferred.
- Certifications: ARRT in Radiation Therapy; CPR certification.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication abilities; problem-solving, multitasking, and independent decision-making; ability to work effectively in a hospital setting with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Additional: Graduate of a JRCERT-approved program; ARRT registered; Truebeam/ARIA system experience preferred.
