Travel Registered Nurse PCU Job
Registered Nurse – PCU (Progressive Care Unit) in Concord, NH. This is a travel, temporary assignment starting 07/06/2026 for 13 weeks, with a weekly pay range of $2,197–$2,252 per week and guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift is 12-hour Nights (2x3 schedule). The assignment is in a hospital setting. Local candidates within 50 miles are eligible for local rate. Cerner EMR experience is preferred but not required. This opening supports travel nurses with potential float to nearby facilities as needed.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for adult and geriatric patients in the PCU, including monitoring vitals, cardiac telemetry, and emergent needs.
- Administer prescribed medications and IV therapies; monitor for adverse reactions and safety concerns.
- Perform focused physical assessments, interpret changes in patient status, and update care plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, case managers, and other health professionals to coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient education in the electronic medical record; assist with procedures as needed.
- Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and post-discharge care; ensure safe transition of care.
Requirements
- Active New Hampshire RN license; license verification required
- Minimum 1 year of experience in PCU or acute care setting (or travel experience in a similar role)
- RRT (respiratory therapist) credential verification noted in job requirements
- EMR experience preferred: Cerner is appreciated but not required
- Ability to work 12-hour nights and to float to assigned affiliated facilities if needed
- Valid driver’s license with address matching demographics and up-to-date resume
