Responsibilities
- Provide direct, comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in the IMCU/PCU, focusing on neuro, cardiac, trauma, respiratory topics, and post-operative care
- Monitor patient status, administer medications, manage drips, respond to changes in condition, and assist with ventilator support as needed
- Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to develop and modify individualized care plans; document in the EPIC EMR
- Perform frequent assessments, wound care, IV therapy, and continuous monitoring per unit protocols
- Float to other units as required to meet patient care needs; ensure safety, infection control, and patient privacy at all times

Requirements
- Active New York State Registered Nurse license; Nursys license verification required
- Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in IMCU/PCU or similar high-acuity adult units
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Ability to float to other units as needed in a high-acuity environment
- Education: Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program
- Submission requirements include: local candidates within 75 miles eligible for local pay; RTO (Requests for Time Off) must be included at submission
