Registered Nurse – Interventional Radiology is needed for a travel assignment in Hermiston, Oregon. Start date 07/26/2026 for a 13-week duration with guaranteed 40 hours per week. Shifts are day shifts on a 5x8 schedule (0630-1500 or 0900-1730) with on-call responsibilities. This role supports patients undergoing invasive interventional procedures such as angiography, embolization, and cardiac catheterization in a Critical Access Hospital setting, collaborating with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to deliver safe, high-quality care.

Responsibilities
- Administer medications as ordered, including anticoagulants, contrast, and emergency drugs; maintain sterile technique during procedures.
- Assist with procedures as needed, including scrub and instrument preparation; anticipate physician needs and document activity in real time.
- Monitor patients during and after interventional procedures, tracking hemodynamics, oxygenation, and vital signs; rapidly recognize and respond to complications.
- Participate in pre-procedure discussions regarding contrast agents and allergy considerations; communicate allergy information during timeouts.
- Provide moderate sedation per protocol when assigned, monitor patient responses, and coordinate with anesthesia as required.
- Support vascular access and post-procedure care, including sheath management, room turnover, and accurate documentation of implants, contrast usage, and procedural details.

Requirements
- Education: Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing; BSN preferred
- Licenses/Certifications: Current RN license in Oregon; CPR/BLS and ACLS certification required; IV certification preferred; certifications specific to the interventional area (e.g., RCIS, NIH Stroke Scale) preferred
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in critical care, emergency, cath lab, or interventional radiology; 3 years in IR/cath lab preferred
- Skills: Ability to work effectively in an interventional radiology/cath lab setting; willingness to participate in on-call coverage and collaborate with radiology and cardiology teams
