Travel Registered Nurse LTC Job
Registered Nurse – Long-Term Care in Skowhegan, Maine. Travel assignment starts 05/02/2026 for 13 weeks in a skilled nursing facility. Weekly pay range is $1,192 to $1,265 per week. There are no guaranteed hours. Shift consists of three 12-hour day shifts, typically from 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to residents in a long-term care setting in accordance with the care plan and physician orders
- Administer medications, treatments, and routine nursing procedures; monitor and document patient responses
- Assess residents’ health status, record vital signs, and communicate changes to the interdisciplinary team
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other staff; update care plans; educate residents and families as appropriate
- Maintain resident safety, infection control, and accurate charting in the electronic medical record; respond to call lights and emergencies
- Support discharge planning, care transitions, and documentation for regulatory compliance
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Maine (or eligibility for licensure in Maine)
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited program
- Ability to work in a skilled nursing/long-term care environment; experience in LTC or SNF settings preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to manage multiple residents and priorities on a 12-hour shift
