Travel Registered Nurse ER Job
Registered Nurse – ER travel assignment in Sonora, CA. Start date 08/31/2026 for 13 weeks. Earn 1,926 to 2,083 per week with guaranteed 36 hours each week. Shift is the night schedule (6:30 PM–7:00 AM) in a Short Term Acute Care Hospital setting. This is a travel - temporary assignment.

Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of ER patients following established standards of care and the nursing process
- Conduct focused assessments, monitor patient status, and respond to changes in condition
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, administer medications, and provide treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses of various levels, and other disciplines; delegate appropriately and coordinate care delivery
- Provide education to patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and discharge instructions
- Participate in discharge planning and ensure continuity of care; maintain accurate documentation and safety practices
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice (California required)
- BLS certification; ACLS and PALS certifications required (per AH policy)
- Minimum 2 years of recent ER or acute care nursing experience
- BSN preferred
- Ability to work in a high-volume ER environment; strong critical-thinking and communication skills
