Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care for adult and pediatric patients in the operating room, including patient positioning, monitoring, and safety.
- Scrub and circulate for a range of procedures, with experience in DaVinci robot cases, large head and neck cases, neuro spine, and ex lap as described.
- Administer medications per protocol, assist anesthesia, and maintain sterile technique throughout the case.
- Maintain accurate intraoperative documentation and post-anesthesia handoff, using the designated electronic health record system.
- Collaborate with the surgical team, anesthesia, and circulating staff to optimize patient outcomes and OR efficiency.
- Respond to intraoperative emergencies, assist with equipment management, and ensure infection control and patient privacy throughout the shift.

Requirements
- Active RN license in Kansas or Compact RN
- BLS certification (AHA)
- 2+ years OR experience, with Level 1 trauma experience preferred
- Strong scrub experience; familiarity with DaVinci robot cases, large head and neck cases, neuro spine, and ex-lap cases
- Ability to float to all ORs and work a Days schedule; on-call up to 6 shifts per 13-week contract
- Effective communication and teamwork skills; ability to thrive in a fast-paced perioperative environment
