Responsibilities
- Perform CT and radiology imaging procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols
- Operate the CT scanner, adjust technical factors, and ensure diagnostic-quality images
- Position patients and equipment, monitor patient safety and comfort, and assist as needed during imaging
- Adhere to ALARA principles and radiation safety guidelines; verify patient identity and procedure details
- Maintain accurate documentation, labeling, and timely communication of imaging results to the care team
- Collaborate with radiologists and other clinicians to review images and support timely patient care
Requirements
- CT experience with radiologic technologist responsibilities
- Ability to work a 12-hour night shift
- Ability to work in a hospital setting and follow department protocols
- Demonstrated accuracy in image acquisition and patient positioning
- Effective communication with clinicians and patient care team
