Travel Registered Nurse L&D Job
Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (LDRP) in a hospital setting, travel assignment located in Sidney, Montana. Start date: 06/07/2026 for 13 weeks. Responsibilities
- Provide direct care for laboring patients, postpartum mothers, and newborns, including ongoing fetal monitoring, vital signs, pain management, and newborn assessment
- Perform triage and non-stress tests (NSTs), initiate appropriate care plans, and document changes promptly
- Serve as the second nurse at deliveries and manage overflow patients, maintaining patient safety and rapid response to emergent situations
- Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatricians, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure patient-centered care, birth plan adherence, and family education
- Support patients experiencing complications during pregnancy, birth, or recovery, including management of postpartum recovery, hemorrhage risk, and lactation support as appropriate
Requirements
- Labor-trained (required)
- Certifications: NRP, STABLE, and Fetal Monitoring (Intermediate or above)
- Prior Labor & Delivery experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced obstetrics environment
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and provide compassionate, patient-centered care
