Travel Registered Nurse Utilization Management Job
Registered Nurse – Utilization Management in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting located in Franklin, New Hampshire. This travel assignment starts 05/18/2026 for 8 weeks with guaranteed 40 hours per week. Shift is 5x8 Days (08:00–16:30) with potential on-floor coverage and occasional weekend work as needed. Responsibilities
- Review patient records and utilization data to determine appropriate level of care and ensure timely admission, discharge, and continued stay decisions.
- Monitor and document utilization management activities, including compliance with payer requirements and internal policies.
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, therapists, and case management to coordinate care plans and transitions.
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and care planning to optimize patient outcomes and appropriate resource use.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic health record to support clinical decisions and reimbursement.
- May be required to work on the floor during the week and, on occasion, cover a weekend day per assignment needs.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of New Hampshire (or eligible for applicable multi-state licensure)
- Experience or strong familiarity with utilization management processes; SNF or long-term care experience preferred
- Ability to work 40 hours weekly, with guaranteed hours and potential floor coverage as needed
- Strong clinical communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
- Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary setting
- Must be able to work in the listed on-site skilled nursing environment
