Responsibilities
- Circulate in cardiovascular/open heart procedures and support the surgical team with instrument and equipment management
- Prepare and position patients, ensure sterile technique, and monitor patient status intraoperatively
- Maintain accurate intraoperative documentation and communicate with anesthesia and surgical teams
- If floated to other OR suites (General, Orthopedic, Neuro, ENT, etc.), circulate and manage patient flow (scrubbing not required unless assigned)
- Adhere to CVOR protocols, Epic documentation, and unit-specific policies
- Collaborate with perioperative staff to ensure patient safety and efficient case turnover

Requirements
- Active RN license in Vermont
- BLS certification required; CNOR preferred
- Minimum 2 years OR RN experience with recent Cardiovascular/Open Heart OR work; CVOR RN experience required
- Epic experience within the past 2 years (nonnegotiable)
- Prior travel experience required
- Ability to work 3x12-hour rotating shifts (0645–1915); flexible to meet unit needs
- One full weekend of call every five weeks; possible weekday calls
- May be required to float to other OR suites; if floated, will circulate (not scrub)
- Reliable transportation required due to limited public transit options in the area
- Education: RN with current licensure; specific degree details not listed
