Responsibilities
- Perform radiologic imaging procedures using DR fixed, DR fluoro, C-arms, and portable DR equipment
- Operate radiographic equipment safely and independently; apply radiation safety protocols and optimize dose
- Ensure high-quality images with correct labeling and documentation in the EPIC EMR
- Maintain and monitor a dosimetry badge; adhere to ALARA principles
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to meet imaging and patient care needs
- Provide flexible coverage across assigned facilities, including on-call shifts as required
Requirements
- Current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license (radiographer) by start of assignment
- ARRT certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum of 2 years of independent radiologic technologist experience
- Proficiency with radiographic equipment including DR fixed, DR fluoro, C-arms, portable DR; knowledge of radiation safety and dosimetry
- Ability to work in a hospital radiology setting and provide coverage across multiple sites as needed
- Experience with Epic EMR is preferred
