Radiology Tech – Zzz Radiology Tech, Hilo, Hawaii, starting June 15, 2026 for 13 weeks, $1,916-$2,022 per week, no guaranteed hours, rotating shifts, travel - temporary assignment in a hospital setting. Responsibilities
- Perform radiologic procedures across departments using DR fixed equipment, DR fluoroscopy, C-arms, and portable DR equipment; ensure image quality and patient safety.
- Operate and troubleshoot radiographic equipment; adhere to radiation safety protocols; maintain dosimetry badge usage.
- Document imaging and patient data in the EPIC EMR; coordinate with radiologists for image review and interpretation.
- Provide flex coverage at additional facilities as assigned; participate in rotating schedules and on-call responsibilities (approximately 3 days per month).
- Position patients appropriately, apply shielding, verify patient identity and exam type, and maintain radiation safety standards throughout all procedures.
- Maintain equipment readiness and report any malfunctions; assist with basic equipment hygiene and daily quality checks.
- Knowledge of Philips DR systems, Philips C-arms, OEC C-arms, Philips Fluoro, and EPIC is preferred.

Requirements
- License: Current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license (radiographer) active at start
- Certification: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
- Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of independent radiologic technologist experience
- Skills: Proficiency in operation of radiographic equipment (DR, fluoroscopy, C-arms, portable DR); knowledge of radiation safety and EPIC EMR preferred
- Additional: Willingness to arrive on the island the Thursday prior to the Monday start for HR/EH clearance; ability to provide flex coverage across multiple facilities as needed
