Travel - Temporary Assignment

Responsibilities
- Perform clinical assessments to identify patient needs and determine appropriateness of physical therapy referral.
- Plan, implement, and evaluate a Plan of Care (POC); document progress notes, plan of care revisions, and other clinical records on an ongoing basis.
- Provide treatment for neuromuscular, neurological, and orthopedic disorders based on medical referral and assessment data; adjust plans as needed.
- Instruct patients and families in transfer techniques and the safe use of equipment (walkers, canes, braces, prosthetics) and order/adapt rehabilitative equipment as appropriate.
- Educate patients and families about therapeutic procedures, tailored to age, condition, culture, and learning readiness.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team; supervise or mentor other staff as applicable; maintain infection control standards.
- Accept clinical assignments consistent with education and competence and uphold professional practice standards.

Requirements
- Current state license as a Physical Therapist (Washington) – Required
- Current CPR certification – Required
- Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation and proof of insurance – Required
- 1–2 years of Physical Therapist experience in an acute care or rehabilitation setting – Required
- Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from an American Physical Therapy Association–approved program – Required
- Must read, write, and speak fluent English – Required
- Prior home care experience – Preferred
