Licensed Practical Nurse – Long-Term Care, Silver City, NM. This travel, temporary assignment starts 05/29/2026 for 12 weeks. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Weekly pay: $999–$1,053. Responsibilities
- Provide routine, direct patient care for residents under the supervision of a registered nurse in a LTC setting
- Administer prescribed medications and document administration accurately
- Monitor vital signs, assess condition changes, and communicate findings to the supervising nurse
- Assist residents with activities of daily living and mobility, promoting resident dignity and independence
- Develop and update documentation according to care plans and facility protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to implement and adjust care plans and ensure safety, infection control, and patient privacy
Requirements
- Active LPN license
- Local candidates only
- Ability to work the night shift (18:00–06:30) and 12-hour shifts
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Experience in a long-term care setting preferred
