Travel Registered Nurse Rehab Job
Registered Nurse - Rehab | Petoskey, Michigan | Start 07/27/2026 | 13-week travel assignment | 36 hours per week | Night shift (3x12) | Inpatient rehab within a hospital-like setting
At a high-acuity rehabilitation service, you’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to evaluate, plan, and implement evidence-based care for adults across the rehab spectrum. You will be accountable for clinically sound nursing actions within the scope of licensure, contributing to safe transitions and discharge planning.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the rehab team to develop and implement an individualized written plan of care based on physiological and psychosocial assessments, goals, and evidence-based practice.
- Assess and monitor patients with acute rehab needs; detect and respond to evolving conditions; document findings and care plans using standard clinical documentation practices.
- Administer medications and therapies per prescribed orders; manage devices and therapies as appropriate for the rehab population.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team using SBAR and other structured communication tools.
- Contribute to discharge planning, patient education, and coordination of post-acute care to optimize outcomes and safe transitions.
Requirements
- Active Michigan RN license (state license required)
- BLS (American Heart Association)
- Minimum 2 years of acute rehabilitation (inpatient) experience
- Demonstrated ability to work in an inpatient rehab setting and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
- Education: Nursing degree (RN) from an accredited program
