Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct segments of treatment programs designed to restore and improve physical, social and mental functions, while meeting department objectives.
- Serve as co-leader in an interdisciplinary approach to patient groups.
- Assess patient needs and contribute to the development of individualized therapy plans.
- Document patient progress, adjust treatment plans as appropriate, and communicate findings with the care team.
- Collaborate with therapists, physicians and other professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
- Ensure therapy services align with department policies, safety standards and care quality guidelines.
Requirements
- Active occupational therapy license in the applicable jurisdiction or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary care team
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Eligibility for a travel assignment and US work authorization
