Responsibilities
- Independently administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and injections (chemo, hormonal, and non-chemo/hormonal) per provider orders
- Access port-a-caths, PICCs, and Hickman catheters; perform venipuncture and catheter dressings; obtain labs via ports/PICCs/Hickman lines
- Provide appropriate clinical care for all assigned patients; maintain accurate, concise records of condition, treatment, medications, and responses
- Monitor intravenous therapies and patient responses; notify the Medical Oncologist or Nurse Practitioner of unusual events and initiate emergency actions when needed
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on medications, expected responses and side effects, disease process, nutrition, activity, and adjustments related to therapy
- Verify informed consent prior to administering chemotherapy; adhere to hazardous drug handling, PPE, and disposal protocols
- Maintain a safe environment and comply with policies and procedures; demonstrate proficiency with Epic EMR
- Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements
- Active Hawaii Registered Nurse license (or eligibility per state requirements)
- Proficiency with Epic EMR
- Experience or training in infusion therapy, including venipuncture and port access (port-a-caths, PICCs, Hickman) and administration of chemotherapy/related injections
- Ability to work in an inpatient med-surg/oncology infusion environment and manage multiple priorities
- Flexibility to participate in a 13-week travel assignment beginning 07/13/2026; must be available to travel and commit to the duration
- Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate documentation and patient education in a high-acuity setting
