Registered Nurse – ER (Emergency Department) in Marysville, California. Start date: 08/10/2026. Duration: 8 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,256–$2,337 per week. Shift: 3x12-hour days (36 hours per week). Assignment type: Travel – Temporary. Setting: hospital-based emergency/trauma department providing triage, treatment, and support for patients of all ages. Responsibilities
- Assume responsibility and accountability for a group of patients during the designated shift, providing nursing care using the nursing process aligned with the medical plan of care and patient/family input.
- Collaborate with physicians and other members of the health care team to coordinate delivery of care for patients across the age spectrum relevant to the assigned unit.
- Triage, treatment, and support for trauma and emergency patients in an acute care setting; ensure safe patient flow and timely interventions.
- Incorporate teaching and discharge planning needs into the overall care plan, ensuring appropriate patient and family education.
- Delegate appropriate aspects of patient care to other qualified staff based on current clinical competence and scope of practice.
- Maintain professional accountability and adhere to hospital standards and CNA-representation guidelines throughout the shift.
Requirements
- Active RN license in California
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program with a nursing degree (RN)
- Ability to work in an emergency department/trauma/stressful, fast-paced setting
- Experience in emergency department, trauma, or acute care environments preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other health care professionals
- Willingness to work 12-hour day shifts as part of a 3x12 schedule
