Responsibilities
- Perform screening mammography and radiographic imaging with correct patient positioning and exposure parameters to ensure diagnostic-quality images
- Operate mammography units and associated imaging equipment; conduct routine quality checks and document results
- Maintain radiation safety practices and ALARA principles; protect patients and staff during procedures
- Review and verify images, communicate findings with radiologists, and document procedures in the Cerner system
- Collaborate with radiology team to support workflow, manage patient care during imaging, and adapt to varying start/end times as needed
Requirements
- ARRT Radiography (R) and Mammography (MRT) certifications required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Fluoroscopy (FLUORO) certification required
- Cerner experience required; Epic experience preferred
- Prior Radiologic Technologist and Mammography imaging experience in a clinical setting
- Ability to work daytime shifts, Monday–Friday, in a fast-paced imaging department
