Travel - Temporary Assignment starting 04/20/2026 for 13 weeks in an inpatient Med Surg setting with guaranteed hours. Night shift (3x12-hour shifts) delivering care in an acute-care environment. Weekly pay ranges from $2,022 to $2,068, with 36 guaranteed hours per week. This assignment is with Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for adult Med Surg patients, including assessments, ongoing monitoring, and timely documentation
- Administer medications and IV therapies in accordance with policy and care plans
- Monitor patient status, identify changes, respond to clinical needs, and escalate to the care team as appropriate
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case managers, and ancillary staff to develop and adjust individualized care plans
- Document care accurately in the electronic medical record; Epic experience is preferred
- Float to other Med Surg departments as needed while maintaining patient safety and infection control standards
Requirements
- Active RN license in Illinois
- Minimum 2 years of Med Surg nursing experience
- BLS certification
- ADN or BSN degree in Nursing (or higher)
- Ability to work night shifts in an inpatient Med Surg setting
- Willingness to float to other Med Surg units as needed
