Travel Sonographer Job
Cardiovascular Sonographer | Cardiovascular Ultrasound | Concord, New Hampshire, United States | Start 06/22/2026 | 13-week assignment | $2,953–$3,077 per week | 40 guaranteed hours | 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts with Wednesdays off; rotating on-call (approximately every 4th or 5th weekend, 8:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.). This travel assignment is in a hospital-based setting with outpatient emphasis and some inpatient exams. Regional site coverage may be required as needed.

Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cardiovascular ultrasound studies, including vascular examinations, with attention to image quality and measurements
- Obtain patient history, explain procedures, ensure patient comfort and safety, and prepare findings for interpretation
- Acquire, optimize, and document images in the electronic medical record (Cerner experience preferred)
- Collaborate with interpreting physicians, provide preliminary findings as appropriate, and participate in case discussions
- Maintain equipment, follow infection control protocols, and uphold quality assurance standards
- Provide coverage as assigned, including on-call duties and potential cross-site support within the region
Requirements
- Active New Hampshire license required at time of submission (temp license available during application for permanent licensure)
- BLS certification
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) by CCI or Registered Vascular Tech by ARDMS
- Minimum 2 years of dedicated vascular lab experience in an acute care setting; unit-specific experience within the last 6 months preferred; same-unit experience within the last 9 months acceptable with demonstrated competencies
- Ability to work in a hospital/ambulatory setting and to cover a 40-hour weekly schedule, including on-call as assigned
- Cerner EMR experience preferred but not required
- RTO must be included at submission
