Responsibilities
- Support the electrophysiology (EP) lab team during EP procedures, including rhythm mapping, catheter placement, and device interrogation.
- Handle special procedures and devices: ICDs, SICDs, pacemakers, and structural heart interventions; participate in EP ablation PVI as indicated.
- Prepare EP lab rooms, equipment, and sterile field; assist with patient positioning and procedural workflow under supervision.
- Monitor patient status during and after EP procedures, document findings, and coordinate with nursing and physicians for safe post-procedure care.
- Ensure proper data collection and documentation, including mapping system outputs and device settings; maintain equipment readiness and safety compliance.
Requirements
- Certifications: RCIS (CVT) required; BLS and ACLS required
- Experience: minimum 2 years of recent experience in an electrophysiology laboratory
- Skills: proven ability to work in EP lab environments with ICDs, SICDs, pacemakers, and structural heart procedures; EP ablation PVI experience preferred
- Availability: able to work a travel assignment with the stated shift pattern; willing to cover holidays as outlined
- Location eligibility: able to work in the United States in the listed assignment locale
