Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments per physician orders, and document responses.
- Monitor resident status, perform routine assessments, and report changes promptly to the supervising nurse.
- Assist with activities of daily living and provide direct patient care and comfort measures.
- Support wound care, sanitation, infection control, and safe medication administration practices.
- Collaborate with registered nurses and the interdisciplinary team to update care plans and ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and comply with facility policies and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Active LPN license (unrestricted) in good standing
- Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing settings preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and participate in a 13-week travel assignment
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Eligibility for employment in the United States and ability to work in Albuquerque, NM
- Ability to pass standard background check and drug screening
