Travel Registered Nurse ER Job
ER Registered Nurse – Travel assignment in Ticonderoga, NY. Start date 04/16/2026 for 4 weeks on a 3x12 Night shift in a hospital setting. Weekly pay range: $2,343–$2,505 per week. Responsibilities
- Triage and initial assessment of ED patients; monitor condition and respond to changes in patient status
- Administer medications, initiate IV therapy, assist with airway management and resuscitation as needed
- Perform essential ED procedures (wound care, splinting, labs, EKG, imaging support) and prepare patients for disposition
- Document care in EPIC; collaborate with ED physicians, charge nurse, and care team; ensure patient safety and infection control
- Provide patient and family education; communicate plan of care and coordinate with case management for disposition
Requirements
- Current New York RN license with license on file at time of submission
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC required; TNCC or proof of class with date applied must be in packet; NIHSS required prior to start
- ER in-unit experience of at least 1 year
- EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years
- Ability to work 3x12 Night shifts in a hospital setting; reliable transportation required (public transit not guaranteed); winter vehicle readiness with appropriate tires (Nov through Apr)
